GBENGA ASHIRU - CEO
Started his career in the legal department of Chartered Bank, now Stanbic IBTC. After a year there, he decided he needed a fresh challenge and went into mainstream banking with National Bank now Wema Bank Plc. He was there for three years and worked across different departments, from investment banking to energy and telecoms. He quickly learned the ropes and accelerated in his position at the bank.
Eventually, it was time for a new challenge. As an avid member of the Lagos social scene, Gbenga had noticed that all the bars and clubs were offering more or less the same kind of music and entertainment. So he set up Zager Entertainment Ltd which revolutionised the Lagos night scene by introducing funky, fresh new themes at various clubs across the city.
This led him to a career at British American Tobacco where he brought his superior networking skills and social graces to bear as a brand executive on the Benson and Hedges team. He worked closely with hotel and club owners, which exposed him to the world of brand marketing. After three years with B.A.T he co-founded MADE Lifestyles in June 2007.
He is a law graduate from the University of Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, England.
OBIORA COLLINS OKOYE - Executive Director
With 11 years' experience in banking and finance, project management, consulting and energy operations, currently working at the African Development Bank as a Senior Investment Officer in the Energy Department.
He has direct responsibility for the evaluation of infrastructure and energy related project proposals to assess their feasibility for financial assistance and technical support by the Bank.
Prior to that Obiora was the Commercial Manager for Mart Energy Services, a Canadian independent oil and gas exploration company focused on developing West African oil and gas fields.
He obtained an MSc in Energy Finance from the Centre for Energy Petroleum, Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland and a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University Business School, UK.
He is a founding member of Made Lifestyles.
JON SLADE - Executive Director
Jon has 11 years Consultancy experience across the banking, energy and telecommunications sectors and specialises in major business transformational change. He has led multi million pound programmes delivering both significant business benefit and incremental value to FTSE 100 clients. Delivery focused and an expert at developing high performing teams Jon works predominantly in the UK and Europe.
His association to Africa runs deep with business interests, and social and family connections throughout West, East and Southern Africa. He obtained a BA (Hons) in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University.

FELIX CHUKS OKOYE - Non Executive Director
While at university, Felix with other partners formed the Steam Rock Entertainment group, which pioneered hip-hop and R&B nights for the university student community. Post university, Felix was also pioneer events director/founder of Traffik VIP, which ran some of the most popular nights at such legendary London venues such as Embassy, China White, Tantra and Attica nightclubs. During this period, he built up a large network of over a 1000 friends, associates and acquaintances both within and outside the Nigerian community.
His first post university work experience was with Black Gold Associates, a London based oil and gas consultancy with a focus on Africa and the Middle East. At Black Gold, Felix worked on the African desk, researching on growth opportunities in West Africa with a focus on Nigeria and Ghana.
Felix moved back to Nigeria in 2002 where he first worked with the law firm of F.R.A. WILLIAMS. He subsequently decided to pursue his entrepreneurial interests with the formation of Kaya Property Development Company in 2003.
In 2005, along with a partner, he formed Liquid Logistics Limited, which pioneered the first 24hr beverage delivery company in Nigeria under the brand name SHAKS 247. This was a pioneering effort and a game changer in the beverage retailing industry. He remains the managing director of Liquid Logistics where he provides direction and co-ordinates all activities of the company.
He attended the Universities of Bristol and Oxford Brookes University, England where he obtained a BA in Law.
OTUNBA BIMBOLA ASHIRU - Non Executive Director
Otunba Bimbola Ashiru was born in Ijebu-Ode to the illustrious Ashiru family. His father, late Pa Simeon Adeyemi Ashiru, was a distinguished Ijebu statesman while his mother 'Omo'ba (Princess) Moradeun Ashiru, is from the Fidipote royal family of Ijebu Ode and the ruling house of Owu-Ijebu.
He is well read, graduating with a degree in Marketing, Purchasing & Supply, and a Masters' Degree in Strategic Management. With this background, he entered the services of the then Chartered Bank in the year 1989. In a successful career that has spanned two decades and taken him to various institutions, he has served in various capacities of Management (Head, Private Banking Unit, Branch Manager, Head, Institution & Professional Banking, Regional Coordinator, Country Director Personal and Business Banking, until his present position of Director, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Social Investments with Stanbic IBTC Bank. He is the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry for Ogun State
Otunba Bimbola Ashiru is a man with a desire for developing people around him, and this translated into his appointment as the representative of the Awujale of Ijebuland on the Ogun State Poverty Alleviation Task Force. He has distinguished himself in this field and represented his people favorably to the best of his ability.
